Another day at the Office #9

The Regen Nursery

New and exciting things are happening in the nursery this year. With our new manager Sam and trainee Kyran on the team we are working on making this our best year yet. We have recently installed another greenhouse tunnel to help propagate more plants, and give some of the more stubborn seed time to grow. Last month was a hot one, but with the cooler months on the way we can except growth to slow and sweat to stop dripping down our faces. The nursery has collected a whole heap of new seed with the help of our fantastic field staff and some specialist local suppliers. We should be sewing all winter!

New Manager

Sam has just joined the Regen Australia team as our new Nursery Manager. With three years of field experience under her belt she is excited to be gaining new skills and experience in this management role. She came here four years ago from New York after finishing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a focus on Planning, Policy and Law. Getting to know the Australian bush has been a great experience and working to save it has become one of her great passions. On the weekends you will find Sam hiking, swimming or at the dog park!

What’s next?

Regen Australia’s nursery is on the up and up! We are planning to expand our space and make room for even more plants. We will be attending the Brisbane Trade Day in March to meet peers and hopefully provide a few native plants to other enthusiasts. Keep an eye out on the website – we hope to make purchasing your plants online a reality! We want to make our plants as readily available as possible so whether you want to stop by, give us a call or order online we have what you need!
