Common Name: Hairy Bush Pea or Eggs and Bacon plant.
Distribution and Occurrence: An understory plant of dry and usually fairly open forests from Southern QLD to Southern NSW.
Description: A shrub up to 2 metres high with a similar spread. Branches have a weeping form and the leaves are around 5mm long with dense short hairs. Plants can be covered in flowers when conditions are right.
Interesting Facts: The Genus Pultenaea has around 120 species all of which are endemic to Australia. The species name villosa is from the latin villosus meaning hairy or shaggy.
