Mountains are home to 15% of the world’s population and a quarter of the world’s land animals and plants. That’s a lot of habitat !
Mountains provide fresh water for everyday life to half of humanity and mountain tourism attracts around 15-20% of global tourism. Their conservation is a key factor for sustainable development and is Goal 15 on the list of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Regen Australia has been very involved in looking after several Gold Coast hinterland areas including our closest local Mount Binna Burra as seen in these photos, where in May 2020 we helped rehabilitate the native bush tucker garden for Binna Burra Lodge after bushfires devastated the area during the previous summer.
