Weed of the Week: Lantana Camara

In today’s Weed of the Week, Brooke highlights a shrub which I’m sure we’re all familiar with … Lantana.

It’s so pretty, but so prickly, stinky and deadly as well as a prolific nuisance which is so widespread it’s become a Category 3 weed – meaning it’s not to be distributed or disposed of unless under a permit.

If you need to get rid of Lantana, or any Category 3 weed, you must get in touch with your local council for guidelines to avoid further spread via green waste or landfill.
