Ormeau Bio Basin Works in Progress

Today we bring to you some action photos of our team in Ormeau who are busy fitting new geo-fabric and blue rock to help protect water scour and mitigate flow.

Scouring, which often happens during events like flooding when water moves fast can erode areas and sediments surrounding base supports for structures like roads, bridges and other constructions.

Installing the geo-fabric and blue rock will help sure-up and stabilise these areas to help slow down any future fast-moving water in this area and prevent erosion and spillage into nearby bushland.

Thanks to our project manager Ben for this update.
